ChildofVenus | I have Sun opposition Pluto in my natal but it's 7°40a would that be too wide to be felt? |
Kiimberly | Personally I use an orb up to 10 degrees with the sun and moon. Conjunctions are very powerful, and I think anything within that range is worth looking at. 7 isn't even terrible. A little wide, but definitely still conjunct imo. EDIT: today I cannot read ahhh sorry, I am less confident about oppositions. Don't know why I read conjunction. I still use a wide orb with luminaries. But someone more experienced can probably answer better than I. |
ChildofVenus | What about a Sun sqaure Saturn aspect in synastry at 8 degrees? quote: Originally posted by Kiimberly: Personally I use an orb up to 10 degrees with the sun and moon. When you read descriptions of the Sun opposition Pluto aspect how much do you relate to what's being said in them? I'm asking, because I have the same question you do but with an opposition of 6 degrees. I can't decide if my aspect is in orb. |
the89freespirit | 8 degrees or less is the orb generally used for an opposition and the one I go by. It is really no different than a smaller orb. Its just that wider orbs are less overwhelming. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com |
ChildofVenus | I read somewhere that people who have hard Sun/Pluto aspects may have a controlling father. I can relate to that because my father does like to control me. I also have Moon square Pluto and my mother is protective of me. Both of my parents are very protective. So I can relate to those descriptions of Moon/Pluto and Sun opposition Pluto. quote: Originally posted by Lerena: [QUOTE][b]I have Sun opposition Pluto in my natal but it's 7°40a would that be too wide to be felt?
